PM Modi unveils bust of Tagore in Dushanbe

[caption id="attachment_2450" align="aligncenter" width="259"] Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi[/caption] Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the bust of Rabindranath Tagore in Dushanbe, after holding succesful delegation level talks with Tajikistan President Emomali Rohman. Recalling Tagore as a ‘gurudev’, Modi said, “Tagore was awarded the Nobel prize in 1913, he was the first asian to be awarded with Nobel in his field. Remembering the contributions of the legendary poet, Modi said “Gurudev Tagore has penned the national anthem of India as well as Bangladesh. Earlier in Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, Modi unveiled the bust of Mahatma Gandhi. Tajikistan is the last leg of Prime Minister’s central asian tour. Source: Zee News
