Development of Buddhist circuit The tourism ministry has announced a Rs 4.50 crore initiative to develop infrastructure and attract visitors to Buddhist heritage sites in Bihar and UP in collaboration with the World Bank. The strategy aims at infrastructure development,skill development,increased market access,involvement of communities and enhancing the visitors� experience in the Buddhist circuit. Interlinking of rivers : The next big thing After Arun Jaitley emphasized on the importance of the interlinking of rivers of our country,water resources minister Uma Bharti has said that it would be the next big thing for our country only if the states agree to it. She said interlinking of rivers (ILR) would not only provide electricity to the tune of 34,000 mw but will also help in the implementation of the ambitious rural irrigation scheme. The Ken-Betwa river link will be the first to be implemented under the new government as Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh have given their consent. By imposing penalties on Russia�s largest oil producer Rosneft,its second largest gas producer Novatek and its third largest bank Gazprombank,US targeted Putin�s allies who had become wealthy during his tenure.
